5 Ways to Empower your Life through Travel

Well, if you’ve been thinking of traveling abroad or you want your idea to become a plan but are not sure if it is a good idea… you’re going to see five reasons why you should push on.

Mark Twain once said, “We regret the things we don’t do more than the things we do.”

  1. See the World for Personal Growth

There is no better way to know a place than to see it for yourself. For most people, the only thing they know about the world comes from what others told them. Maybe you’re like most people. However, if you are here that is probably not enough. You want to go abroad to experience the world yourself.

Wherever you’re living right now is just a tiny fraction when compared to what is out there. You can learn about other people’s culture in a classroom but traveling abroad is the only way to live and experience the culture. You can learn about a place from a book but you only truly appreciate it when you visit.

2. Do things you don’t get to do at home

While trying to make a living, some of us have forgotten about just LIVING. Our lives can easily be governed by monotonous routines and we don’t even realize it. One of the ways to be free and open the mind is to travel abroad where you can do the things you might not get to do at home.

When you free yourself from all the pressures at work, daily duties of your fixed schedule…you’ll suddenly feel a new freedom, a new spark, a new love for the planet and life.

You will realize that you’re free to live again putting what matters into perspective. You recharge your body and mind.

Travel is a real tool for personal growth and transformation, the secret is being open-minded to new experiences that can add value to your life journey and bring back with you what you learned!

3. Learn about New Cultures

Almost everyone who has traveled abroad is surprised to find out there are many cultures out there that are so unique and beautiful. If the only culture you’ve experienced is from where you’re living right now, you’re missing a lot. The world is full of diverse cultures and traditions and the only way to experience them is to visit the place.

For instance, when you visit a new place, you get to find out that there is more to see than the well-known sights. You can even have the opportunity to make new friends and find out more about the place from the right sources.

4. Make memories no one can take from you

In years to come, you will realize that you no longer have the strength to do some of the things you used to do. One of the things that you will be left with at that point is the memory of what you’ve done in the past. If you only live your life without traveling to other places, you might end up regretting it because it would be too late to make new memories.

Therefore, you don’t want to get old before you start wishing you had done something differently. Most people find it difficult to connect with new cultures and enjoy the nomadic lifestyle. I can teach you how to make traveling abroad enjoyable.

5. Learn New Languages

You know I love languages. I speak four languages fluently – English, Italian, Spanish, German – and languages have been a huge part of my life. It’s a huge part of who I am and my story.

So many people want to learn a new language. It’s a life skill, something that you learn and you keep with you for the rest of your life. And what does it give you?

It gives you the keys to new places.

It gives you the keys to new friendships.

It gives keys to new and deeper connections in your travels sometimes even in your city.

It’s a way to learn about the culture. I have learned so much by studying languages, by reading books of a country in their language.

Literature is connected to history and that’s the beauty of it. So you get two in one: you learn a language and you get to know the people and their culture with it.

Do you find yourself thinking about learning a second language or maybe you have tried learning a second language and you also give up, well, you’re not alone. A lot of people do quit learning a language. It’s not an easy thing and it also doesn’t happen overnight. Trust me.

“I really want to speak French / I really want to speak Spanish…”. If you’ve been thinking about this and you want to enrich your travels,  your move abroad, or living abroad …then let’s do it.

Do it. Don’t think of quitting. Think instead: What works for you? What do you want, what is your goal?

Also, I have Spanish and Italian Programs coming up. There is only a limited number of slots. Why am I limiting the number of people that can attend? It is because I want you to have all my attention!

Are you still thinking of going abroad? Let’s make it happen!
